Contact Edit: Artist Tools for Intuitive Modeling of Hand-Object Interactions

I worked as a member of the demo plugin development team consisting of three undergraduates students, led by Mr. Arjun Lakshmipathy and advised by Professor Nancy Pollard at Carnegie Mellon University during the entire fall of 2022. This plugin is a demo for the paper "Contact Edit: Artist Tools for Intuitive Modeling of Hand-Object Interactions" in generating hand poses based on user drawn contact regions.

In this plugin, I was majorly responsible for:

• Managing the back-end data structure of the plugin

• Developing contact rotation feature and undo/redo functionality

• Creating contact visualization
